The School of Arts provides high-quality, multidisciplinary learning, research and community service in communication and creative arts for the Gold Coast, Australia and the world.
The School of Arts seeks to play a pivotal role in the development of the information and creative economies on the Gold Coast, across Australia and around the world by enhancing its learning, research and community service in areas of communication and the creative arts.
In these objectives, the School will focus on:
- communications industry practice - the uptake of new technology and global perspectives in
journalism, public relations and digital video
- creativity and the creative arts – dynamic applications of writing, theatre and contemporary arts
to create global audiences contemporary theory - investigating the question of being human in terms of culture,
- communication and community, especially in the context of creativity.
